shoe fancy

TJOML is obsessed with shoes, just like any other "normal" 15-month old. So, I let her park her cute little rear near the shoe closet and rummage through the 50-dozen shoes there of various sizes, color and wear. She picks whatever fancies her at that time and diligently tries them on, one by one. None of them her size, of course. She has about a dozen of her own size, which don't seem to interest her as much as Daddy's size 12 work shoes. She meticulously sits down, almost cross-legged, then lifts her right foot up and daintly slides it into Daddy's giant left shoe, pushes up with her arms on the floor, butt up in the air, stands up all wobbly and manages to walk a few feet looking and feeling quite triumphant. That simply just makes my day.
