Many different board games were played, sometimes ending in a screaming fit, and sometimes going endlessly because it was too much fun.
Lots of hot chocolate was consumed, sometimes with marshmallows and fresh whipped cream, after 3 mile walks on neighborhood trails.
Handmade greeting cards were sent by kids to friends.
Stories got written, whimsical drawings came about on and off, and favorite shows were watched.
Cookies and banana breads were baked.
Santa did stop by. Christmas day was too exciting for the kids. Wish lists got (mostly) fulfilled.
